Thinking about how other CAD packages work ... Extending options for showing points : once I™ve drawn a spline, I often highlight it™s points (by fence) to edit with the points turned OFF I find this great as I still get the clarity of the spline the downside is you often have to fish' for them (with a select fence) What about an option for Points 'ON by proximity™ (of the cursor) That way - any available edit points would show only when you pass the mouse over their proximity This could work perhaps 'by area™ or by object™ so mousing over a spline or a cube for example could show it™s available edit points - in grey we could also look at an option for turning Points ON for selected™ entity - this too could be very useful

I just thought about SolidWorks (maybe I™m thinking of ProE ?) As I remember, they dim entities by maybe 25% until you mouse over them or select them I think this is an interesting way of bringing component elements into user focus ie : if you mouse over a spline - it becomes visually prioritised, perhaps then showing it™s edit points - perhaps even it™s 'object edit' info too at the same time, the other objects are slightly de-emphasised

I second that especially between points of a curve. The end points I have no trouble as the cursor selects the end point of the desired curve assuming you have show points on.

Yes, I'd love that too.
Today points are indicated as "vertex" only when the spline is selected.
The end of the start tangency (also called vertex) is often on the spline and can be took as a point...
Another detail : left to right selection on a spline doesn't work when it includes a (n invisible) point...

I'll second that, it removes many steps. Also, when selecting vertexes it would bs helpful to have more selection options: select along U or W ( like XY), select next with option to deselect current vertex, mirror select about the surface axis ( U/W), and the list goes on.
