I'm having an issue where ViaCAD's snaps are snapping correctly (endpoint ,midpoint etc.) but the cursor is actually NOT snapping on the part VISUALLY. Almost as if it is snapping to a 1/2" offset ghost/hidden 3d part (of which there is none). Is this a bug? Quitting and restarting the program does not help.

Make sense?

Looks like you are trying to build with perspective on.
CU / ViaCad is completely broken when it comes to doing anything other than looking at a model in perspective mode.

Turn perspective off, and you should find everything works fine.

Yes, it looks like a perspective issue. I was trading notes with our home design team at Punch who ran into a similiar problem and found a slick solution which we hope to implement in an upcoming version.

I hope it's not too far away .. we've put up with this for 7 or 8 years

If you cant use the drafting assistant in Perspective mode .. don't show it !! Turn it off .. that way your software won't look broken !

It's confusing and incorrect
