I have a 3D model .5 thick that has edges chamfered and I am trying to "grind" off the top of one corner.
I have tried to make a solid with a reverse curve that I can move into my model and subtract it, but after tilting it up and moving it into and over my model, it gets all screwed up and doesn't come out right. Is there another way of doing this? I tried to find a tutorial that showed this but I couldn't find any.
In the attached file, the upper right corner where I want to modify.

Can you draw a line in the area where you want the radius Jim

I don't want to radius. I want to Kind of chamfer the upper right corner without changing the bottom surface. The trouble is the adjacent edges are already chamfered. In real life I take the object and grind off the upper surface of the corner.

Have you tried a vertex blend on the corner? If you want a planar chamfer, draw a triangle between the points you want to 'grind' to. Make a cover surface of the triangle, extrude the cover as solid and subtract it from the bezel.
