Not sure but, is there a Section symbol I can drag/drop or something? I know about the section tool for 3D cutaway views but I am looking for a simple section line-symbol that I can just place with two clicks over 2D geometry.

I've just been using one that I made and drag it out when needed but it's a little clunky to do this especially with out-of-scale files.

Not that I'm aware of.

Tim,

Is it possible to make the section view tool in the drafting environment render the cutting plane line in the "Cutting" line font instead of "Solid"? Selecting the the line after creation and attempting to use the inspector to change its font does not work. It takes a work around of creating another line, changing its font, and then transferring the font to the cutting plane line using the eye dropper to accomplish the end result.

Regards,
Kevin

A bit awkward but...

Do a model to sheet of a block.
Create a vertical section in the top view.
Now select section dimension and copy.
Paste into a new drawing and save.

Attached is one I saved.
