Can one select multiple layers somehow? For example to move easily into "Sub-layers" under one new layer name? Sorry if this has been asked before..

Short answer: No. You can not make more than one layer active in Concept Explorer / Layers. Long answer: Sort of. If you use the Select Mask, you can select multiple layers to be active, or deselect the layers you don't want. You can then do a Select All to select all the entities on the various layers you want to move, and either use the contextual menu / layer option, or the Inspector to change all the entities to the destination layer that you want.

Thanks Nick, never thought of using the Select Mask for layers. Clunky, but certainly faster than one-at-a-time!
btw my sister lives out in SF too. Great city - excellent food!
