My old computer bombed and just got a new imac, but now I can't figure out how to register/transfer my Shark FX v7 license on here. Can anyone help please?

THanks, its kind of an emergency.

My boss will put me in jail if I don't get any work done.

I tried that, I have a whole bunch of emails with new Authorization codes.. None of them work..

When I open shark it asks for Name, Org, Serial, Reg Key, and Auth code.

I put in the name, org and auth key but the buttons for Activate and Register Now are still greyed out..

I'm not sure what to do at this point as the help-office is closed for the weekend.

I realize that I should have a serial number from time of purchase. But going through my emails I can't locate one at the moment. This was a downloaded purchase and despite the fact that I don't delete my emails it hasn't been found.

I guess I'll just have to wait until Monday.

yeah... probably have to wait until Monday when they are back. They may even have to reset or give you a new code.
Have you downloaded the beta/test version and maybe can use this for the weekend(?)

Excellent idea. Don't know why I didn't think of that. Thanks Phil! :)

Haha no it's working fine now.. I'm using build 968 which I believe is the latest. Luckily I saved my preferences/shortcuts so I was able to pop that sucker right into the preferences folder and have all my fine shortcuts back!

Now to be patient and wait for Monday. But to be honest my patience is reserved mainly for the v8 - absolutely can't wait for push/pull in shark.

What you have to do is:-
Go to System Preferences > Accounts and make a new account, give it admin rights.
Log out and log in to to your new account.
Open Shark and fill in the form that comes up after the flash screen.
If it works you should get the 'welcome to Shark' screens and the tip of the day.
Log out and back into your normal account. You can delete the new account if you wish, I find it is sometimes useful when things go wrong.
