Where is the custom line weight preference in Mac OS X on Lion? I need to zap it to oblivion because deleting the specific line weight from within the Inspector does not work permanently. Only for that session.

While with the Draw View Properties, does anyone else have issues like I stated above with the Pen Styles?


I am on Shark V8 (997)

Imac 2.8 GHz Core i7 27"
Mac OS X 10.7.2
16 gb RAM
24" LED Cinema Display

Attached is a screen shot of a Draw View Properties and my Pen Styles.

As you can see I have multiple Line weights because it is not permanently erasing the custom Styles I have created.

Is there a Preference or Cache that I can delete that will enable me to start over with new settings?

You can delete user defined Pen Styles under the Inspector : Pen :Style setting.

Ok, this is what I did:
I deleted the Custom Pen Styles within the Inspector while I had file A.sfx open.

I saved the file, closed Shark FX.
I restarted Shark Fx and opened File A.sfx again. The Custom Pen Styles were still erased.

I closed file A.sfx and opened B.sfx and all of my Custom Pen Styles re-appeared! I open up file A.sfx again and the Pen styles are there again too.
I can't seem to get rid of them for good.

Are Pen Styles supposed to be file specific or app specific?
