Another way, if you only want to remove SPECIFIC files from the list, would be to move the containing folder or change its name so that VC/Shark thinks the file no longer exists. It will prompt you as to leaving the name in the list or deleting the name.

It would be better, though, if there were a right-click contextual removal or reordering of files in the MRU (most recently used) list on the app.

Also, its possible to simply go into the Registry (ONLY, ONLY, ONLY if you are comfortable with this) and hunting down the MRU that relates to Punch products (or any product of interest to you) and edit the MRU. In the olden days (or maybe still today) there was/is an actual text file one could open, edit, close, and find the removed name no longer appearing on an app's last opened files list.

IIRC, Shark and Punch have their own files list, but it's on my other (personal) computer. Go into \yourusername\apps\ or \yourusername\apps\roaming paths and root (scrounge/grovel) around and inspect the files having .txt and some that don't have (but to which you can append .txt). Be careful, though: some are actual binaries. So, be sure to restore the .txt or inspect only copies. Do not edit the contents of an actual binary file unless you like taking risks with your apps.

Actually, it might be even more kewl if Tim could tweak the code to allow tear-off of file names from that list.

Be sure that you make a copy of any text files you edit.
