I am attempting to trim a solid with an ellipse. The directional arrows either display intermittently or not at all (it takes several seconds to update). Makes the tool a bit difficult to use.

ViaCAD Pro V5 build 750 on OS 10.5.4

Hi Mark,

Obviously you are hitting Ctrl to flip direction ??. I also found that by moving the mouse slightly it effected the update of the arrows being shown...is this kinda what you are seeing or something different?

Yes... well,, as I'm on mac, it's the option key - but hitting it sometimes causes the display to update and show the arrows, sometimes not. I've been experimenting and am unable to get any consistency.

Edit: OK, I am seeing the mouse wiggle causing the arrows to appear now. I quit and restarted VP, which seems to have helped some.

I also see that very often.
And sometimes the arrows appear far away from the curve...
