Here's some feedback of instability of ViaCad 2D/3D. You can't quit the app in some circumstances. I haven't figured when exactly it happens, but I think it involves using command-W as a short cut to close a document. I have enclosed a link to a video. At the end it actually crashes, but I had already stopped the video.

I wonder if anyone else on a Mac has this issue as well. It's actually not only when I use command-W to close a window, but also just clicking it. I am not able to quit ViaCad after working with it for a few minutes, without force quiting it.

I still hope that any Mac user can report here if they also always have to force quit ViaCad 2d?3D v8 in order to quit the app.

look for "disappearing menu" or "lost menu" on this forum, this bug have a long time and it seems to be mac-osx related Luis G.

Amazing that it is that difficult. Or not a priority.

Confirmed, long time issue
the workaround is to create a new untiled file, the menu then appear and gives you a chance to save your work, after done, must force quit

Yeah, that's the way I work as well. Actually, most of the time I just don't quit at all and it's always open.
