When I open this DXF file in VC is does not show correctly. When opening in Draftsight, it shows correctly. VC is the white background.

I think your custom resolution is wrong. Try preferences and check your custom resolution. I have mines at super fine and curve angle 2.0

Adjusting the resolution did not fix it.

How do I post the DXF?

select all, right click and change resolution. Circle looks good, the outer arc if part of a group will be group resolution. It will print and dimension nice even in course resolution.

When I select all and right click it does not give me a change res option. I am using a mac if that matters.

It does look like a bug in ViaCAD as this file opens OK in all my other CAD/CAM programs.

However, if I save your file from any of my other programs, it then reads into ViaCAD as expected.

Which program did you use to create the drawing?

Martin.

Thanks for checking it. I contacted Punch!, but they said they can't help with How-To, only tech problems. I see this a problem, not a how to.

It was drawn by a customer, so I'm not sure what program was used to create it.

Fixed in the 1094 code stream.

The dxf file contained a 2D polyline with lines and arcs. The ViaCAD polyline only supports lines and needed to account for this type.

Can you elaborate on how you fixed this?
