Hi
I'm using Viacad 8 on Win7.
I have used the "loft surface tool" between two adjacent surfaces to get the whole blended together (purple section).
When I apply zebra analysis it looks fine but when I join the surfaces it looses continuity as show by the skewed zebra.
Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong ?

>> when I join the surfaces it looses continuity as show by the skewed zebra. Does it do this if you turn off healing in the join command? Join: Options: Maximum Heal Gap Size=0.0. Also, be sure to crank up your display resolution, the zebra normals are calculated at the display facet density. Tim

Hi Tim
Thanks for a reply.
When I set heal gap to 0.0 and change the resolution of the joined surfaces to super fine I still get stepping in the zebra which indicates to me there are problems with my continuity.
When I export to obj and bring it into modo, it renders Ok though, although I can see very minor flaws there.
See attached image.

Tim has responded via email. Great service ! His solution in this case was to Set both stitch gap and heal gap to 0.0 in the join surface command options which resulted in a prefect zebra after the join.
