In viacad6 if i have a solid model and as an example i put holes in the solid block then i move it to a different location on the drawing. From the new location i use model to sheet. When i dimension the solid i lose centre points of the holes. I assume they are tied to the original position of the solid. Is there any way around this problem? thanks Jim

Hi Jim What build of V6 are you using the build number is on the splash screen --> Help --> about ? You can try to add a new center point on the model to sheet drawing with either the center mark in the dimension tools or the point tool. The center snap should be active on the hole even though the center point is not there. Regards Jason

Hi Jason The build number is 738 on my version 5, i don,t what the build on version 6 its at work. I didn't explain myself very well. I lost the centre snaps. I got around the problem by filling in the holes in the solid and re doing them. It seems if i move a solid to a new location and then do model to sheet the snaps are associated with the original location. thanks Jim
