I have been getting complaints about how when I'm editing someone else's ACAD file, the title blocks are all messed up.

Its because I Ungroup the block and Edit the text.

But... Is there a way to keep their blocks as blocks: After I edit the text, and re-export the file as a DWG or DXF?

Thanks!

Hello

ACAD blocks are handled as groups in ViaCAD and Shark.

Thank you. How about if I use the "remove an object" command and replace it with an "add object to group", will that be exported as the same block back to my ACAD counterparts? Or will they see it just as a group and their block is no longer the same editable block at their end?
