Create a Help-Circle with the radius of a diameter from the circle which should be together with 2 other circles and draw such a help circle on the both midpoints of the first 2 circles. Then you get the midpoint of the third circle as intersection between the help circles.
This is maybe the old school way and i did'nt find out a faster way?

It works faster with the Three Point Circle and the Option-Key on Mac or Ctrl on PC and typing the Value for the Diameter after drawing a handmade circle (the way how to work in VC and Shark, creating handmade Object and when this finished typing the lenght or diemeter or whatever for creating the right size of the new object) for the correct diameter. Then will the new circle keeping tangential between the circles also when the diameter changed.
Tim Olson made a very nice Video about the tangential features. The second part of the video show how to make a tangential circle between 2 lines. In the same way works it between 2 circles or curves.

Won't it be easy to mirror the left or right circle and use the 2-point tangent circle with the diameter of the two circles. Of course this would only work on if all circle being the same diameter.

| Reason: naming the command correctly.

If they're the same diameter, rotate one 60 degrees with copy about the centre of the other.

No, this Tangent Point Circle Tool works also with a different diameter. Thats a great tool and do the same like the tangent functions of the Three Point Circle, but you can enter the diameter before the circle created and with the Three Point Circle you have to enter the diameter always after the Circle created.

it is good to know and avoids the help circle or figuring out geometry. Now if the Opposite Point Circle command will anchor at the first vertex, it will help to avoid to shift it after inputting a specific diameter or an alternative diameter. oh my wish list is getting long. Cheers!
