The Magnet seems to be the best for a useable assembling, but the nut is then not really in the thread.... :)

set the nut to transparency in inspector and move with gripper into the thread?

Have you tried the align & mate tools? The align tool lets you reference cylindrical faces to align the axis.

This is nice, but it will be very much better when this tool also works with groups.

Gripper, Face Snaping also works for this. H.

No, not for me, i never used the gripper, it is not a tool for me.

Delete the threads from the nut, move the nut where you want it and then subtract the bolt from the nut. Perfect aliment
