So often when changing views or zoom we must re-size the gripper. How about a check-box maybe to the right of "Enable Gripper" such as "Auto Size" which would keep the gripper size fixed at the size on the screen at the time the box is checked.

If the gripper size is set to small, medium or large the size does not change until the object is reselected. But maybe this is not what is wanted?

As Bill mentioned, the Small, Medium, and Large option in the Gripper Settings allow you define a fixed size of the gripper handles. Attached is an image showing where to access this option.

Tim,
with that button I can change the size of the gripper compared to the CAD-Data. By zooming out you can make the gripper virtually disappear. By zooming in you can lose all handles, see only the three colored axes.
Locking the size to the screen dimensions all the time, making the gripper keeping the same size, independent of zoom operations. Thats what we like :-)

hi, as a work around i am using a shortcut for the selection tool. if the gripper is too small or too large in the view, simply hit that shortcut

Hi I Zoom in or out then go to the griper properties and select Medeum, Medium if you were set to Medium and it resizes the displayed gripper in the window in the same position. would be nice to have an option to create a shortcut Key to trigger this behaviour. Regards Brian

to bring this up again!
The gripper changing size with zoom is not up to date behavior for a contemporary CAD-System!
See attached Image! Changing zoom, Gripper size or anything just to manipulate any object is not acceptable and hinders workflow big time.

So a little work around for this is when you have selected what you need zoomed in and out and the gripper is either massive or ultra small, go to inspector deselect the gripper and then select it again and it resizes to suit the screen position you are in. Not ideal, but works
