Morning all, I've seen that in ViaCAD Pro 10 you can use the deep select, control key and rotate a feature to copy it, like holes etc. I'm trying to do it when the hole has a thread, and it's throwing up allsorts of errors. Anyone been successful with this? It would be great if that would work if say you have a plate with a load of tapped holes in, it would be good to make one hole then pattern it out, instead of make one hole, pattern it out then go through and add all the threads separate. Cheers

I know what you mean. The copy or move with deep select having a thread gives problem. You do need to understand it well first to duplicate. Have you tried the 3D pattern to duplicate the threaded hole. You can copy to specific locations.

I've tried the pattern tool but it patterns everything, not just what I've selected. Not sure i have 3d pattern in ViaCAD ? Is that not just a shark thing?
