I am using ViaCad Pro latest version.

As of right now, to see if there are any updates = to: Lunch ViaCad > go to Help menu > select Current Version > and lunches the browser.

How about programming in ViaCad app's Preferences "Check for Updates Automatically or Manually" upon lunching ViaCad? If there is an update, it will download it, install it and relaunch the app.
