Does any one know how to fix this error after converting to NURBS? See pic.

This is something I didn't draw from scratch but rather imported from 3D-coat. Something to do with bad curvature.

The pop up screen says see err info but how do I find that out. Nothing shows up. Is there a command that I'm not aware to see these err infos to which I can see this error info.

I'm trying to shell this out. Will try a smaller value see if I can shell it out at all.

Usually this means the shell would self intersect/loop at the specified offset value. Trying a lower value is a good idea.

To track down the region preventing the shell, you could split the solid into multiple parts.

Hi Tim,

No go on the lower values. Will try splitting into multiple parts and see where it goes.

Is there a way to shell a mesh, the same way one does in NURBS before converting? The thing is that this is a scan that someone sent to me and the scan is not hollowed out and I'm trying to hollow it out. No problem with the surfaces after converting to NURBS. It is as if I'm trying to shell out just the body of that Bunny in that video you did but from the bottom plane.

No sorry. Something I'd like to investigate though.

Below is a video of a part that will only shell regionally (around 2:30 mark). Curvature around mouth, eyes, tail prevent entire body from shelling. I then boolean back the splits to create one body again.
