The actual working layer and the layer of the selected object should be always visible in the big top bar. I dont like to look in the inspector or right mouse menu only to know in which layer the object is. Layers are important, they should be displayed at a important place, and the Concepts explorer is also only open when changing working layer or visible layers or creating new layers.
