Is quicktime really needed for making a animation? Is there no alternative? Its not really relevant for me because i use the Shark LT yet and i dont need this features by myself.

In the SharkCAD Pro 1337 build we replaced QuickTime on Windows.

Removing is not enough. Maybe using Direct X and VfW for animation Videos.
