Hi Just started with ViaCad 2D/3D software. Created a 2D drawing relating to the side of a model railway carriage. Process used In 2D mode created a rectangle approx 1" x 8", then placed window apertures within the rectangle. Moved to 3D, selected Trimetric View, 'select all' and then use Extrude Solid tool to add thickness to the rectangle. All looked as expected could see through the window apertures. I then went back to 2D mode and attempted to add more windows and the system no longer allows the creation of an aperture. Question How can I add an additional aperture, preferable in 2D mode but any advise on a solution would be greatly appreciated. Best wished to all Tony

                hi,
go to 2d mode, create a polygon inside your profile (see picture 1, black polygon), next switch to 3d trimetric, select your block and open the feature tree in concept explorer. right click on the profile feature and choose add curve or polygon. then pick the new polygon
regards
