hi,

i am unable to subtract the blue "+" solid from the selected part in my model (see picture).
after the subtract solid command the blue + disappears and does not result in an imprinting + sign.

is it a bug? thanks for help

edit: meanwhile i tried the operation in version 8 (german). amusingly the subtraction failed on first try, but after an undo it worked on the second try. but only in version 8. in version 9 no go.

Try doing a compact file with remove history checked.

hi,

thank you for the tip. unfortunately this did not solve the issue. after compact file my associations are gone, but the problem still exists.

Try a stitch solid command on the solid, this worked for me. This will run a bunch of repair procedures on the solid if it is already a solid plus add it as a feature operation.

I need to jump into the debugger why this is not subtracting as the part appears aok.
