Hi,

Is it possible to move curves defining the a cover surface (that must stay connected for a cover surface), separately, without breaking the curve-to-surface associativity, and then reconnect them?

In other words, how to suspend the regeneration of an associative feature dependent on curves that for some reason must be moved separately, and then reconnect the curves, and then have the surface regenerate associatively to the moved curves?

Automatically regenerating associativity is controlled by the Auto Resolve settings in Preferences: General. By default, this feature is turned on. Turning off auto resolve will suspend the regeneration of all associative features including the history and any parent/child link.

If you turn this feature off, selecting the Edit:Resolve Links will update the file when you request.

Not really, In my experience, many times a simple "undo" will bypass this preference and as example, make a change to a model that have linked relationships to a Model to sheet viewports, and the undo the change, and then the links will star to be updated or resolved.

Yes, G2Art also... you can make a copy of your line with Option (alt) and delete it after.

Exact Luis, regenerating after undo is a pain...
I think it is a bug :
it does not regen after a move, and does regen after undoing this move...

You have to turn it off manually as it's always installed with Auto Resolve being turned on (Preferences - General - Auto Resolve).
