SharkFX has not been able to import STEP, DWG, and DXF recently. Also OBJ export only creates files when I do a multifile export and OK-click all of the export error messages. I probably have an old version, so where do I get the latest? Sorry, I am away from my computer at the moment so I don't know the version of SharkFX I am running. Thanks Tem

Latest Mac version is 747.
http://forum.punchcad.com/showthread.php?t=1119 We're working on a minor 749/750 patch now for shark fx, shark and viacad pro. If you can provide a small file with steps to repeat we can look at. Zip and send to
[email protected] .

Perhaps for each new build of Shark/ VC they should be tied to a colour code that is reflected both in the forum title bar and the floating tool bar in the application. That way we would instantly know if we were up to date or not?

Step import is working correctly on my intel mac on the current build of SFX. I'll check OBJ export later on both ppc and intel Macs.

FWIW, OBJ export from my Intel Leopard Mac/ Windose XP machine has been working superbly for several weeks now. I'm currently importing into Autodesk 3DS Max, via OBJ files, left, right and centre! :D
