Product Description

Shark LT is a full featured CAD application for creating precise 3D digital models and associative 2D drawings. The easy-to-learn interface includes a comprehensive set of modeling tools such as sweeps, lofts, shells, and blends. For annotation, Shark LT supports industry ISO and ANSI dimension standards including GD&T as well as redline markups. Data sharing with other applications is made possible through a wide variety of formats to share data including DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, SAT, OBJ, and Adobe Illustrator.

What's Different from ViaCAD

Shark LT includes licensed technology from CATIA V5 to assist in the automatic production of precision 2D drawings from 3D models. Combined with the newly introduced GD&T and markup tools, Shark LT is the preferred solution for professionals needing a full featured drafting and annotation solution.

1. Automated Drawing Generation --- 3D to 2D
Demonstrates how the 3D model to 2D sheet tools in Shark can be used to automatically generate engineering drawings, including the creation of section and detail views. Additionally shows how the resultant 2D drawing can be accurately shared with other programs such as Adobe Illustrator.
