How does the PDF import work? The scale is way off - about 10 X too big. Can you use the imported work? Patrick

Hi Patrick,
PDF import on Mac is using some technology in OS X for importing PDF and EPS files. The size of the PDF is taken from the width/height stored within the file and preserved as an bitmap image. You can use the image as reference artwork. We cannot edit the vector data.

The way I understand PDFs is that it is a wrapper around the original file. So if you print a ViaCAD file to PDF it should open as an editable file in ViaCAD. Is this not true? Whether files that come from other sources work in the same way will depend on the way that the import filters are applied to the incoming file.
