Ambiguity pop-up is not dismissed with ESC key on Mac

WHY ?

It always worked on the PC - and Tim ... you promised to fix it for me !!

But despite me asking 1 million times, (Yes I counted them) ... the Ambiguity pop-up dialog box is not dismissed by the (keyboard) ESC key

This is only a problem for folk like me who used to use a PC and then moved to OSX (... otherwise, you wouldn't know the two versions don't work the same !)

Sorry all - I didn't know it worked that way !

Still, the ESC key works on PC - and is the standard way to cancel an operation ... so why not ?

So - is there an answer please ?

If like me you switch between Mac and PC - you'll quickly see that ESC does not quit the ambiguity pop-up on Mac ... and each time you try it irritates

Are we not supposed to have feature parity here ?

Hi Jol,

OS difference. The reason why you are seeing a difference is because it's not a behavior we programmed. The PC automatically will abort out of that type of a popup if you hit an escape key (whether you're in shark or not) where as mac does not. I'm not sure what it would take to change the behavior on mac, would need to look into further.
