I use model to sheet for 3d all the time it works great. I am trying to model to sheet a 2d drawing and all I get is a blank page. Am I missing a step somewhere? Thanks Jim

Model to sheet is used for making views of 3D objects. 2D has no need of this feature. Chuck

Not really Chuck, Model to sheet should be able to handle to 2d objects to work with scalable sheets, example, you sketch a layout plan of a building in 2d, you need to print the sketch, so, this must be placed on a viewport that handle scales for blue prints and so. Jim, unfortunately, on via cad-shark, if yo need to do put 2d objects (non solids or surfaces), you must copy them (and they must be ungrouped), and paste on a viewport made previously, thats the workaround that work for me when a need to do this, but it is kinda frustrating Obviously, there is a fail on the software, must be a bug o non considered logic procedure of the workflow on the design. Model to sheet is a great tool, but is widely discussed topic on the forum about its glitches and still considering amount of work to do to make a stable-really efficient tool as it should. Mean while, yes, it is a great and must have tool. Luis G-.

You are right Luis, I first printed a template sheet , then I scaled the drawing and then printed the drawing on my previously printed template. Jim

Yes, MtoS should be able to create scalable sheets. I recently fixed some issues in v9 regarding putting walls, doors and windows into MtoS. Be sure to have the "Ignore Curves" disabled in the MtoS dialog box. Tim
