Hello

I'm new in using ViaCad, thank you Tim to activate my account.

So far I managed all "problems".

My question is with the model to sheet, what is with the measurement's?

I have a model, that's transfered, but the dimensions are missing on the sheet.

The layer "dimensions" is always empty, what I'm dooing wrong?

Thanks for help

Christophe

Hi Everybody,

Just wanted to know on how to have the dimensions go from the Model to sheet views without copy & paste.

You do not need to dimension in 2D or 3D. Select your model and click on 'Model to Sheet'.

You will have 4 flattened views. Click on one of them and you'll get a dotted red outline. That is the "view window". When in a view window you can use the dimensioning tools.

Ok, I did that once, but I thought if you dimensioned in your model it would go automatically to your sht view.

Thank you
