Radius dimension difficulties (#2646)

I am working on dimensioning a solid part in model to sheet mode. In one viewport I try to dimension a round chamfer with the radius tool and the dimension does not show up but clearly was created. When I enlarge the viewport extents I find the dimension significantly offset from my part and snapped to an invisible center point. I frequently have this problem dimensioning with the radius and diameter tools. Sometimes it will or won't work for different curves on the same part. Any ideas? Thanks.

Private email or post the file and I can check if its fixed in V7.

Hi hadmack
can you post a example of what types you have issues with?

Is it possible to input multiline text for radial dimensions? Is there some way to type an escaped CR character into the text box? Currently I use the dimension for the first line, then add a text box below for additional lines. Unfortunately they don't move together or scale in the same way.

Try adding a \P to the dimension string.
#\P hello world
Hello world will be placed on the line under the Diameter value

If you have an example that would be great. My quick test was ok.

Hi Tim
See attached example the center mark is in location of ref circle for cutout by solid is moved.
Thanks

>>See attached example the center mark is in >>location of ref circle for cutout by solid is moved. Thanks for the example. This was also fixed when with the radial/diameter bug. This correction be in the next viacad/shark service packs. It is specific to the polyline hidden line mode. Tim

This kind of does what I need it to. Your example works fine but if you try: # hello\P world the hello ends up on top of the diameter value. This doesn't work either: hello world\P# I would really like to see this feature functional though. Are there any other hidden escape codes like the \P that may be useful such as tabs or alignment markers? Thanks.
