I like to know which software to use to model this kind of volume?

Hello Antoine. I know Shapes like this from the Works of [URL="http://www.bathsheba.com/downloads/"]Bathsheba Grossmann[/URL]. He mentions on his homepage the Use of [URL="http://www.wolfram.com/mathematica-home-edition/"]Mathematica[/URL], which can export to STL. But that is commercial and quite expensive. I don't know if [URL="http://www.scilab.org/"]SciLab[/URL] (open source) can do the same. Freeware/Opensource ? Well, maybe try [URL="http://www.incendia.net/index.html"]Incendia and Geometrica[/URL] for first steps. And don't forget to come back and report if you are successful ... Good Luck. Roland

Topmod 3d is known to make this kind of objects. It is free.

I have a couple of TopMod files in my test database for converting meshes to NURBs. One is a Klein bottle and a "boned" Klein model, see attached image. I split the bottle so you can see inside.

We are lucky ...
Mathematica supports MAC (but as mentioned it costs money).

Hello. I knew that there is an open source software similiar to Mathematica out there. By pure Luck, i found it again: [URL="http://k3dsurf.sourceforge.net/"]K3DSurf[/URL] Runs on Windows/MacOSX/Linux ... Regards Roland
