Well, i cannot put this under "News/Announcements", but the "2D ViaCAD", 2D3D ViaCAD", and "Pro ViaCAD" versions "6" are aligned like... "666". THAT number triple 6 surely might nix sales in some regions, hehehe. Otherwise, the layout looks kewl/neat...

Well, i have a "beastly" idea, as of last night, on how Punch! can move us (without us kicking or screaming) to one of the Shark products, using the numbers 6, 6, 6, and something else, and more 6's: "If for at least 6 months you have been a registered user of ViaCAD 6, and if you agree to for a 6 month period pay 60 per month, we will allow you to used ViaCAD 5 Pro for a total of 6 more months to get some 6y features usage before we retire support for the product. You'll get a time-limited, unrestricted features access in VC5 during that 6 months, but after that individualized 6-month period, you $60 per month will accrue toward Shark Lt (a ~$600, umm, or, $595 value). After that period, then for 6 months more – if you agree – you will then pay continue paying on a monthly basis $60. Isn't this a 6y deal?" If that happened, it would be more affordable and less painful for me to transition to Shark (and hopefully have a collection of VC6 & VC5 Pro features), and i would think that Punch! or CSI/CU would be able to more gratifyingly count on a known income stream for some period of time in this economy, rather than receive from us a bunch of hemming and hawing and vagues responses like "maybe 6 months from now i will consider or actually purchase a license for...." No, i'm not a marketing type. I just was thing about "6" and the beast and such, while trying in vain to recall why my solids trimming was not working out for me... probably due to bad memory, and bad notes, and nothing about excess plane trimming construction whatever hints...

Thanks. Yeh, plenty. But, i'm way overloaded. Too many things on my plate. Not enough trust yet to build a biz structure around 5 or 6 ideas, mainly interrelated. Worried about IP theft, to a big extent. But, i'm slowwwly working out of that rut.
