I haven't looked lately, but if Google cares, Google should get SketchUp and GoogleEarth integrated as a CAD app on Android devices. With billions in the bank, and leveragable assets available, this would be one way to move more Android based apps. Well, provided there's security (cannot let thieves get ahold of client work drawings, right? And, no, there should be no coercion to use "the Cloud") and NO snooping or googlle analytics used against the users.

SketchUp doesn't belong to Google anymore: It now belongs to Trimble.

iOS would seem to have an advantage in that it is a large and stable ecosystem with development tools that are known to provide very high quality and high performance graphics. I already use drawings Pro on my iPhone as a viewer, but I would be interested in any CAD apps.
