I put this in Punch Lounge, as it may offend and come off as a rant more so than a plea for help.

I thought "I should be able to do this in SharkCAD (I'm on SharkCAD 12) in a few minutes.

Been at it over 30 minutes, and no solid, projection, or other SC tools got me close. I'm failing and feel RTFM.

My install even REFUSES to recognize curves across rhe face in parting line too and, in the Push-Pull tool, SC intermittently refuses to highlight boundaey'd faces having peojected or just drawn-on curves

Making me want to tear out my hear.

Since I THINK I saw and used Parting Line to do a portion of this kind of example, I suspect I'll find it in the manual.

If I'm wrong, I WILL update with an apology.

But, this app is not thinking as I draw. It isn't seeming to recognize my intentions based on combinations of tools, solids, and curves on-screen. (Not saying I wish for AI.)

Followup:

In my case, I:

— created a mesh to get s basic piece of geometry,

— duplicated it,

— rotated snd acaled a copy,

— transposed it to the other to look like in the tut vid,

— the combined the mesh, then turned the combined

— mesh into a surface.

Then, to mimic the vid, used Push-Pull to extrude to a solid.

1 layer, no mesh, no push-pull, no created a mesh to get s basic piece of geometry, no rotated snd acaled a copy, no transposed it to the other to look like in the tut vid,no the combined the mesh, then turned the combined and no mesh into a surfac

Follow-up to my first.

I managed with some effort to achieve what's in the adamarchh video.

— I created requisite curves for the intended roof,

— duplicated them for the foundation or house bottom or floor,

— deleted the floor's interior curves,

— created a cover surface of the curves of the floor,

— created for the roof the individual interior faces via Cover Surface tool,

— stitched the surfaces.

The entities I pulled or moved upwards were just 4 end points or coincident control points, indicated as the red dots or the end points.

Thanks, Theo.

After a cooling off period, while watching a naval video to clear my thoughts of geometry, I decided to go with segmented curves, surfaces, and a stitched solid. Errantly didn't segment one or two curves and spent time troubleshooting then my phone's annoying file browser slowed fown my follow-up.

Cheers!

A problem with scaling rhe curves after the solid is made is the stitch doesn't like being messed with.

I failed to realize my happiness arrived before I actually tried to manipulate the solid.
