Has anyone here done this kind of sim in SharkCAD, but not constrained the parts to 90° relative position? After all, if this ball laid on a table or floor, or a chain became an anchor and chain laid on a pier or the chain retracted into a chain locker, the solids would need to self-arrange and obey physics. Manually placing each one of 30-150 links would be exceedingly tedious, time-consuming, and possibly be subject to random criticism.
I have yet to use the timeline tool in SharkCAD. IT WILL be neat to use it to simulate opening and closing doors, rotsting propellers and propeller shafts, running flags up and down yardarms and jacks, masts, and staffs, rotating radars, flaking/coiling rubber-cotton fire hoses, etc.
