Has anyone done this kind of operation with surfaces, not solids and not meshes, and get the Gripper to help with scaling and such?

Thanks for replying.

I'm not sure. I ALWAYS forget to think about the woodworking tools since when drawing ship parts, I am thinking "metal". I'll have to visit those tools.

I also tend to forget to use the time-saving tools that move a face by a distance or to an object. Beats drawing in auxiliary geometry, at times (especially since I don't create draw planes, and instead draw extra geometry a assists, and perhaps due to apprehension/unfounded anxiety around drawing to planes).

As for the app in the vid, it reminds me of Blender and maybe Rhino in functionality.

Again, thanks for the suggestion/pointer.
