To start with I am new to this forum and new to ViaCad. I tinkered wit CAD software a tad several years ago but never anything above that. I recently purchased ViaCad v10 (updated to build 1359) at my local Staples to get free from Tinkercad. I am having an issue that is preventing me from modeling on the software it seems that the coordinates lines (XYZ red and green lines) are missing. I can draw lines but they disappear after I release the mouse button. Ive included a pic of what's missing. Thanks. /Users/donpetersen/Desktop/Screenshot 2023-02-05 at 7.12.27 PM.png

                Hi Truggy
Couple of ideas.
to draw a line click at the start, click at the finish, type the length you want. Done.
If you cant see the line it could be white so change it to something else, see attached screen shot of the inspector.
You can turn the triad on or off, see attached screen shot.
To see if there is a line there select the arrow pointer in the top left .
Place the pointer top right of screen. click and hold down left button drag to bottom left of screen, release button. if there is anything there it should be highlighted. If you have the gripper enabled it will show the gripper so you know something is there.
Do the tutorials up under the help menu, they are full of great tips.
Hope this helps

In the view menu, show axis was checked. I un then re checked but still nothing. Also the line color in inspector is set to red. Im able to draw the line but as I stated earlier it won't stay no matter what I try. thanks again./Users/donpetersen/Desktop/1.png/Users/donpetersen/Desktop/2.png

I got it worked out. I ended up purchasing the v14 upgrade. Thanks for everyone’s help.

A bit of an update on my issue. I contacted customer service on the issue I was experiencing but never got anything accomplished so I just went ahead and upgraded to V14 and all is working perfectly (so fat).
