I have a reference image that is 4096 pixels wide. (It covers an area 600' wide). When I bring it into ViaCAD whether through import or File/open the resolution is substantially reduced (looks like maybe 512 or 1024.) Is there any way to improve this?

Same here. I'm working with a high resolution architectural drawing that, once imported to Shark FX, appears so fuzzy that I can't make out numbers or even lines spaced close to each other. I need to constantly refer to another copy of the drawing opened using OS X preview.

Also:
-imported PNG images appear completely black
-imported jpg images seem to partially/sporadically obscure lines in the drawing unless I set transparency on. (By the way a search of the help menu and user guide for "transparency" turns up no information regarding why this happens. I could also find no information in the program help regarding what the transparent background pixel tolerance setting does.)

Would it be possible to send me this PNG?

Hi David

If you could send me the image I could debug. Since images are drawn to the screen using OpenGL, it might be size limits based on the video board.

Image was 4K wide. I broke it into four quadrants and re-assembled in ViaCAD. Resolution is much better.
