Just a discussion on blending and why it isn't always straightforward over on the MoI forum. Interesting how both ACIS and Parasolid struggle a bit with what seems like a simple job.

Hi Martin My guess would be that ACIS and Parasolid are only creating a fillet if it everywhere meets the kernel definition of a fillet, driven by manufacturing standards. I would question whether it's a radial fillet throughout the high curvature area or if its switching to a loft approximation in that area. Tim
