before highlighting sketch line colour (#1124)

Tim and/or Forum,
At present it seems that if I want to sketch something on to an existing surface, the lines created, if selected are highlighted in red, but if not selected, are shown in a shade not quite dissimilar to the colour of the existing model ("concepts blue", or in this case, "ttrw strikes gold"!).
Is there any way of changing this colour, as having to pick a slightly lighter foreground colour to the background colour, is rather confusing, especially if that line is near or on a vertex. Like this (existing);
(not the best example, but it gets the point across) :)

have you tried "show dimming" from the view menu ?

Aha! So that is what dimming is for? Hmm- it seems satisfactory. Thanks Jol! :) Edit; can this post/ thread be moved to the tutorials section?
