Converting vcp to pdf (#3309)

I have just created a file in ViaCAD Pro. V6, now I would like to convert it to a PDF so anyone without a CAD program will be able to look at it. Is there an easy way to convert the file to a PDF? I know that I can export each drawing as a BMP or JPG and then convert it to a PDF but it gets a little distorted. Richard

Hi Richard Are you using Mac or pc? Set everything up and print the file to pdf. If on pc you can download a free print driver like cutepdf or pdfcreator. Once installed you can choose the pdf driver as the printer. The mac has built in pdf capability. Regards Jason

Jason Thanks; The file converted over perfect. I already had Nitro PDF Pro. on my computer. This is the first time I know what that print driver was for. Thanks, Richard

Install a PDF creator such as 995 and use it as a printer and the program will put out a PDF file. ViaCad 7 comes with "PDF Creator". It installed automatically with one prompt during the installation process of ViaCad 7. Best to you. Chuck
