Gaps in Solid exported via .dxf (#364)

I am having to export a somewhat complicated solid to modo for rendering, using the V12 .dxf. The resulting mesh (mess) has tiny gaps between the faces (especially where transitioning from large flat faces to blended edges). These gaps are also present when importing the .dxf into Vectorworks. The solid passes a validity check. Not sure why this happening - any ideas, especially about how to fix it?

Sorry for the delay, Scott. I'm a little swamped right now - when I get some breathing room, I'll try your suggestion. Thanks.
