Rookie Q: Trimetric View... (#4090)

I'm a 'rookie' to 3D cad, running VC 2D/3D V8 for Mac on OS 10. My situation / question is this: I find myself switching back and forth from 'Front', 'Back', and 'Right' or 'Left' views', to the 'Trimetric' view a lot. However, each time that I go back to Trimetric, rather than it returning to the view position where I left off, it always returns to some pre-set (front-upper-right) view position. I then have to spend an inordinate amount of time getting the Trimetric view back to where I left off, and wanted to work from... This is really frustrating, and I've spent (wasted) untold amounts of time doing mouse-scrolling to get back to were I wanted to be in Trimetric. Is there a way, or setting, such that Trimeteric will go back only to the previous viewing position....? - Jim

Hi Jim
Set the view how you want it to be then goto view -> new view and change the name and save how you like
Now you can go back to that view by selecting it in the view --> user view menu
