Nice! Thanks! Lately, i've been noticing that many of my crashes seem to have subsided. It may be due to the quality of the dxf and mesh lines output by DELFTship, the quality being dependent upon how many nodes i had in the model. Too many nodes, too many kinks/bends/twists, it seems. Then applying surfacing to some of them would bog down the graphics and even crash VC 2D/3D and VCP. Had a crash last night, but i didn't sweat. What i am hoping is that some of the safe fixes include will be graphics or app canvas refresh/redraw-related. I run VCP inside VirtualBox/Sun xVM 2.x (IIRC) and when my cursor bumps the edge of the display, the whole VCP app tries to refresh. It's as if there are two instances of VCP trying to share one cursor, with a slight wobble/undulation/regen-like effect. NONE of my other apps do this, and this jiggle/wiggle/undulation introduces lag which -- if i am moving too fast -- causes me to make clicking/properties errors. I want to suspect VBox and the graphics emulation, but if you have an ability to reproduce a laptop platform along the lines of 32-bit PCLinuxOS with 2.4 GHz CPU/Turion and 128 MB VBox graphics RAM with 1.7GB RAM allocated to vista (NO service pack-- i have never let vista touch the real world, even tho it means i may miss out ou service packs.... are they available without logging in to ms' site and downloading them?) i would love to know if it's my machine or something peculiar to VC 2D/3D or VCP
