For some reason the font size is miniscule for my vertical and horizontal dimensions. After each measurement I have to go in and make it bigger so it's readable. How do I change the default size?

I'm on ViaCad Pro v12

That doesn't seem to work.

With nothing selected, the font size is set to 36 points, which is reasonable. When I take a measurement, it reverts to the value "User(0.138)" which is apparently in inches and is tiny. If I change the User value to something like 96 (and set it to points) with nothing selected, it changes the "User" value to 1.33 (and back to inches not points). If I then take a measurement, it keeps reverting to that small "User(0.138)" size, which is too small to read.

I can change it AFTER to whatever I want, but I have to do that for every measurement. And I can't seem to find a preference that lets me set that User value to something sane.

Oh wait. I never noticed the Dimension Properties tab. If I set that, it sets a default. I had been using the "A" tab indicating the font settings, which actually do affect the display of the measurement text, just not the defaults. Talk about confusing.

Thanks!

After you set up a dimension to what you want, make it the default by right-clicking on the dimension, and in the pop-up menu click on "Make Default".
