I use the pocket hole screw tool every single day, and want to know if there's a way to use it at a specific point?

This as opposed to having to calculate numerical distance from each edge.

For long apron rails for example, I prefer to start at the center for my first (center) pocket screw hole, and then move a specific mm in R/L direction. Before the pocket hole tool was implemented I'd place points using the midpoint line at the center of the rail. Then use the counterbore tool at each point.

It's a really great tool for me but maybe I just don't yet know how to fully harness its potential.
