Have many tools that were in ViaCad 2D/3D 11 disappeared on purpose? In my registered Version 10 has many more tools which are not there anymore in v11. See attached images.

I was only running the demo to see if everything is working as before, before I purchase, but should I see those tools? Is it a problem with my system (Mac OS 10.12.5)?

Hoping to hear from 2D/3D users.

Punchcad, you've just lost a customer. I feel mislead and taken advantage of. Of course they only announced new features (nothing worthwhile for me), but didn't tell they've taken away essential system tools. I've been an advocate for ViaCad in the past, that love is over now.

Just checked the comparison, turns out they've added gd and t to version 11. Great work, I've recently upgraded to SHARKCAD to get the gd and t. Less than impressed at the moment.

What is "gd" and "t"? I've been in contact with Punchcad Support and have been informed that some features of Shark have been added to ViaCad Pro.

2D/3D was promoted as an full featured affordable CAD app. Such a loss.

Check here. V11 is a little buyer beware. Although they had wrongly advertised on this matrix, I believe its now OK, and it shows what you get. It's like you get something new and they take away something old and useful! Not a great business plan if you ask me.

I've had to keep Shark V10 installed for the extra power pack Pro functions, as some have been ditched in V11!
