Could please use some ideas on how to model this in SharkCad Pro10.
About a 6" central diameter.
Thanks,
Larry

Larry-

here's some ideas on the descriptive geometry part of your challenge; I have NO idea on what the relationship of the spherical diameters is that yields a 6" diameter contact circle...............

Hi Larry
That shape reminds me of Tims video, modeling a ring.

Hi MaiFy,
Looks promising, the only problem is that I'm not used to the new {new to me} tools.
Mesh and Subdivision, I've never used, and I am not a big fan of the Gripper or Push-Pull
I guess I will give it a try though.
Thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry
You might be able to do a precise NURB using the surface from laws import file.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dupin_cyclide

f(x,y,z) = (fx(u,v), fy(u,v), fz(u,v))

Thanks Tim,
That is an awesome example, going to take some time for me to
comprehend the construction.

This is a awesome geometrical object. Please add this to "solid primitives" this will be extremely nice. This is my suggestion of the day. When is the summer holiday?

please give sometimes a wip release 1371 for sharkCAD.
